As a key member of our team, the Cost Estimator Specialist will play a crucial role in providing expert cost estimation and financial modelling to support strategic decision-making across project lifecycles.

About the Role
  • Develop detailed cost models and estimates for Defence capability projects using industry-standard tools such as CCT, ACEIT or TruePlanning.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather inputs, validate assumptions and identify cost drivers.
  • Conduct thorough risk and sensitivity analysis to assess financial risks and provide clear recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Cost Modelling & Estimation: Develop accurate and reliable cost models and estimates for Defence projects.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships with technical and financial stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize financial impact.
  • Reporting & Presentation: Prepare comprehensive and clear reporting documentation and present findings to senior stakeholders.
We're Looking For
  • Demonstrated experience in cost estimation and financial modelling within Defence programs.
  • Proficiency in one or more Defence costing tools (CCT, ACEIT, TruePlanning).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and confidently.
