Cost Estimation Specialist

The Australian Government is seeking a skilled Cost Estimation Specialist to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in the development of cost estimates using endorsed methodologies.

This is an APS 6 role that works as part of a team to help build good team behaviours through coaching, feedback and continual process improvement surrounding the quality of work undertaken.

  • Develop detailed cost estimates using endorsed costing methodologies
  • Work independently with reasonable autonomy and accountability for outcomes
  • Strong numeracy, problem-solving, and organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude towards successful relationships with stakeholders

About Our Team

The Manufacturing Division is responsible for sponsorship and delivery of all domestic manufacturing. The division's primary objective is to support the Australian Government's capability investment proposals by providing high-quality cost estimation services.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and collaborate with a talented team of professionals. They will also receive training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
