Overview MTU Maintenance Australia, based in Perth, is the regional contact for On-Site and Field Service MRO solutions for Aero Engines (CF34) and Industrial Gas Turbines (LM2500 and LM6000) in the Asia-Pacific region.

Role Sales Manager - Industrial Gas Turbines (IGT):Secure business for MTU Maintenance by maximizing sales from the assigned territory, with a focus on corporate market products (LM2500 & LM6000).
Identify and target new business opportunities through strategic corporate and fleet sales approaches to expand the customer base.Drive business development efforts to win new contracts and retain existing clients.Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored service solutions.Ensure high customer satisfaction by embracing pre- and post-sale processes that lead to customer delight.Collaborate closely with the Commercial Team to effectively close identified business opportunities.Take primary responsibility for the success or loss of business opportunities, ensuring all processes are aligned and customer expectations are met.Work with Customer Account Managers (CAMs) to ensure won accounts are successfully transitioned and effectively managed.Maintain regular communication with CAMs to provide market feedback and understand the facility's continuous improvement efforts, leveraging improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.Participate in the creation of annual sales plans for the assigned territory.Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies specific to the Repair & Overhaul (R&O) business, ensuring their successful execution.Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and pricing strategies to stay ahead and adapt as necessary.Review and adjust pricing policies with input from CAMs to remain competitive while maximizing profitability.Work with various departments to address and resolve customer issues, providing excellent customer service and support when needed.
Qualifications You must have the right to work in Australia5-10 years of sales experience, preferably in a managerial roleStrong knowledge of the industry and the Australian market, specifically with experience in Industrial Gas Turbines, such as the LM2500 and LM6000Excellent leadership and team management skillsStrategic thinker with the ability to develop sales strategies and drive growth in the IGT sectorExcellent communication and presentation skillsWillingness to travelConfidence, competence and credibility in dealing with customersResponsible, structured and focused approach to workStrong relationship-building and networking skills, particularly with clients in the IGT industry
