Senior Civil Estimator We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Estimator to join our growing team.
This is a key role responsible for leading tender preparation, cost estimation, and commercial support across a diverse range of civil projects.
Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for civil infrastructure, earthworks, and subdivision projects.
Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documentation.
Conduct take-offs, measure quantities, and source subcontractor/supplier pricing.
Liaise with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options during the estimating process.
Support business development by contributing to bid strategies and client presentations.
Mentor junior estimators and contribute to continuous improvement within the estimating team.
Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of estimating experience in the civil construction industry.
Strong knowledge of earthworks, roadworks, drainage, and subdivision works.
Proficient in estimating software and MS Office (expert in Excel).
Excellent analytical, commercial, and negotiation skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
A team player with strong communication skills and leadership potential.
