Plan and implement sales, marketing and product development programs, both short and long range, targeted toward existing and new markets.LOCATION:RemoteESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Direct management of District Sales Manager team, including implementing sales strategy, account management strategy, and effective management of sales budgets.
Essential duties include the following - other duties may be assigned:Developing, implementing, and managing strategic account plans, sales strategies and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and servicesDeveloping and managing sales/marketing operating budgetsPlanning and overseeing advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mailAchieving satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share in relation to preset standards and industry and economic trendsEnsuring effective control of marketing results, and taking corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgetsOverseeing and evaluating market research and adjusting marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditionsMonitoring competitor products, sales and marketing activitiesEstablishing and maintaining relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partnersGuiding preparation of marketing activity reports and presenting to executive managementEstablishing and maintaining a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and eventsDirecting sales forecasting activities and setting performance goals accordinglyDirecting staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and marketing programs, and to achieve Company goals and objectivesRepresenting Company at trade association meetings to promote productMeeting with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing dealsCoordinating information between sales department and other sales related unitsAnalyzing and controlling expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirementsPreparing periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansionReviewing and analyzing sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectivenessDirecting product research and developmentQUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing or Business (Masters preferred)Minimum of 5-10 years related experience with progressive managerial responsibilitiesAbility to effectively communicate with co-management, internal and external customersDemonstrated in-depth sales and marketing techniques and financial principlesDemonstrated ability to anticipate and solve practical problems and resolve issuesStrong organizational skills and the ability to work well under pressureMust have strong command of the English language, both verbal and written communicationsExceptional skills in MS Office Suite -- Word, Excel, Outlook, Power PointTRAINING REQUIREMENTS:Complete all necessary training as required by assigned department and positionParticipate in and follow all company initiativesPHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must be able to stand, sit, stoop, squat and walkMust be able to lift up to 30 poundsUpdated 4/14/2025
