A Sydney based medical devices company with a global reach is looking for a Technical Office Coordinator. They develop and manufacture medical devices for over 60 countries worldwide.
It's not a start up company, they have been in the business for the past 30 years. It's a company with a huge upside as they are ramping up production and R&D. They are looking for a talented Technical Office Coordinator to join their dynamic team.
As the Technical Office Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Research and Development team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Ordering parts for R&D prototyping: Utilize your technical knowledge to ensure the smooth procurement of essential components for innovative projects.
- Gantt chart updates: Keep projects on track by maintaining accurate and up-to-date Gantt charts, providing essential insights into project timelines and milestones.
- Meeting organization and minute-taking: Facilitate effective communication within the team by organizing meetings and meticulously recording key discussions and action items.
- Travel arrangements: Take charge of booking travel tickets for team members, ensuring seamless logistics for domestic and international travel.
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and Outlook: Leverage your advanced skills in these essential tools to streamline administrative tasks and enhance productivity.
- International conference attendance: Embrace the opportunity for annual international travel to represent the company at prestigious conferences and stay abreast of the latest industry developments.
To excel in this role, you must have a technical background, either through work experience or academic qualifications, ideally in Engineering or R&D. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively are essential.
