Backend Engineering Opportunity
This role involves working as a senior backend engineer, reviewing requirements and technical design documents, managing programming task schedules, and coordinating with multiple teams. The successful candidate will have experience in developing, deploying, debugging, and testing cloud applications, as well as good technical skills in at least one backend programming language.
The ideal candidate will be confident in balancing both technical and communication skills, with the ability to adjust to their audience. They will also possess attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset, be comfortable learning and adapting to cross-functional requirements from various domains.
Key Responsibilities:
Reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents
Managing programming task schedule updates and coordinating with multiple teams
Bug fixes and maintenance of existing systems deployed on cloud server providers
Identifying, analyzing, and correcting common issues in backend REST services, such as performance issues, and downstream service failures
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, robust, secure, and maintainable code and work closely with various domain stakeholders to implement APIs to communicate functional requirements. They will also build dashboards to monitor the server health and write automated tests that validate backend service functionality.
