Remote Software Engineer Opportunity
This is an exciting chance to work as a software engineer in a remote-first environment with a global team.
The company focuses on developing open-source software, with a platform that powers various initiatives such as cloud computing, data science, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things.
As a member of this team, you will be working on large-scale backend services using primarily Python and some Golang. The services are designed to power marketplaces and provide a seamless user experience.
Key responsibilities include:
Collaborating remotely with a globally distributed team.
Designing and implementing new features and enhancements from specification to production.
Reviewing code and technical designs produced by other engineers.
Participating in discussions and collaborating on finding solutions.
The ideal candidate should have:
Professional proficiency in developing public-facing APIs and web applications using Python.
A broad technology base but preference for backend code and infrastructure.
Experience with relational and non-relational databases and ability to design data models that perform well.
Comfortable with Ubuntu as a development and deployment platform.
Strong academic performance in Computer Science or a related field.
Pasión for technology and working with diverse talented individuals.
