The Project - Sydney Metro City South West (SMCSW)

The SMCSW is a new 30-kilometre metro line extending the tracks from the southern end of Sydney Metro North West at Chatswood, under Sydney Harbour through new CBD Stations and upgraded stations along the South West corridor to Bankstown.

MTR was awarded the Operations, Trains & Systems package in Dec 2019 and commenced delivery of key rail systems & trains.

About the role

The role of the Modifications Manager will be to managing specific clause requirements of the Integrator Deed.

**Description**:
**Responsibilities**:
Coordinating Significant Contractors and reporting to OpCo2
Responding to OpCo2 Modifications
Issuing Modifications on behalf of the Integrator
Represent the Integrator at Modification Working Groups
Liaise with the OpCo2 / Principal Modifications Manager / P2CE Manager

**Skills and Experiences**:
Competencies

Leadership and project management within major infrastructure projects
Practised and diplomatic communicator, able to manage stakeholders within a pressured PPP, alliance or joint venture organisation
Effective prioritisation and ability to quickly identify key issues / blockers to progress
Strong commercial acumen and proven experience in contract management, change management and negotiation techniques
Ability to think and act proactively and strategically, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

**Qualifications**:
Tertiary qualifications in project management / construction management / engineering or similar

Experience

At least 15 years of experience at a senior level in the design and construction of large multi-disciplinary infrastructure project
Significant experience in the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects. Rail experience considered an advantage
Proven leader, managing team members with cross-functional skills within a large infrastructure project/programme
