**About the Role**

We are looking for a Theatre Assistant to join our Gastroenterology/Day Procedures Unit department at Greenslopes Private Hospital we provide gastroenterology and minor procedure care across ten procedural rooms.

As a Theatre Assistant, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Assembling and managing theatre case set-ups in accordance with operating lists, displaying attention to detail
- The care and maintenance of various equipment associated with the Theatre Department
- To be available in a general capacity to assist theatre staff
- To assist with reprocessing endoscopes

**Your Skills and Experience**

You will be a self-motivated individual with the ability to work effectively according to directions. You will bring exceptional communication skills, a strong customer focus and thrive in fast paced environment.

**_ You will also demonstrate:_**
- Completion of a Certificate III in Health Services is desirable.
- Endoscope reprocessing experience is desirable
- A high degree of attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a high-performing team.
- Previous experience in a theatre / hospital environment

**Remuneration**

On offer is an attractive base salary + superannuation. Based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances**.**
