About the Role

provide generalist HR and IR advice on a range of people issues in line with People & Culture policies, practices and relevant legislation.
undertake workplace investigations and provide recommendations to leadership teams based on findings including conducting formal performance management meetings.
manage non-work-related injury cases.
be familiar with Australia's Employment law and have an understanding of EBA interpretations.
assist and guide performance management by supporting and coaching leaders.
ensure all documentation is legally compliant and best practise.
establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders both within the client group and more broadly across the business.
be involved in various projects within the People and Culture function, including recognition and engagement activities.
union and EA negotiation experience would be advantageous.

What you'll bring

prior experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing / FMCG environment
HR tertiary qualification and extensive knowledge of human resources management issues and relevant legislation, regulations, and policies
demonstrated experience in partnering with business/leadership teams to design, develop and implement HR strategies to meet business objectives.
generalist HR experience including managing non-work-related injuries, IME processes, leadership coaching and learning and development.
in-depth knowledge of employment law
excellent oral and written communication skills and client focus
ability to deal effectively with a broad range of people at all levels within the business.
exemplary interpersonal skills with a reputation for being empathetic and a positive and uplifting role model.
capacity to be adaptable, plan, organise and manage time effectively.
energetic, have strong communication skills and is self-driven.
