**Network Planning Analyst (Contract Role)**

**Adelaide, South Australia**

As a part of Sony Interactive Entertainment, PlayStation is leading the cloud gaming revolution, putting console-quality video games on any device; and the Network Planning team is at the forefront of planning for and building the global network that makes this possible. As an Analyst in the Network Planning team you will be responsible for the ongoing analysis and reporting of financial and commercial information relating to the Sony's global network. This includes financial analysis and budgeting, contract assessment and reporting.

**Responsibilities**:

- Word closely with key SIE stakeholders to identify business requirements and translate them into an actionable plans.
- Review, validate and record financial and commercial obligations from active contract.
- Identify and report upon upcoming contract renewals.
- Analyse invoices paid to operate and maintain our network and record key information.
- Link invoice payments to contractual obligations and identify discrepancies.
- Work closely with engineers to understand the network topology and how network segments link to (i) contractual obligations (ii) invoices.
- Develop financial model documentation that captures analysed data and clearly and simply communicates key findings.
- Establish documentation and reporting structures that supports the continual review, assessment, and reporting of the financial model.

***Requirements**:

- 5+ years of proven experience in a procurement or business analyst capacity
- Working knowledge of commercial data such as budgets, service agreements and forecasts
- Ability to develop financial models
- Highly proficient excel spreadsheet skills
- Ability to understand networking principals and fundamentals
- Proven analytical abilities
- Experience in developing business cases, financial models and value propositions
- Practical experience generating process documentation and reports
- Proficiency with collaboration tools (eg Slack, Office365) and office management tools (eg Word, Excel)

***Desired Skills and Knowledge**:

- Familiarity with telecommunications and ISP service delivery
- Engineering education or background
- Familiarity with digital media software and networking technologies, especially those related to Sony's products, services, and devices.
