**Role Summary**:
The Accounts Receivable/Reconciliation Officer is an exciting opportunity in our Finance Business Services business unit based at our Perth CBD office.

The purpose of the role is to support the day-to-day management of Synergy's accounts receivable and cash processing activities and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives of processes and systems.

**Key responsibilities of the role include**:

- Processing of accounts receivables in compliance with policies and procedures including invoicing and collections
- Ensure customer payments are allocated in a timely manner
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Follow up and collect on accounts by sending reminders and communication with customers/counterparties or liaising with the internal relationship manager on the account.
- Escalating customer non-payment or outside of terms invoices to Senior Accounts Receivable Officer or AP/AR Lead.
- Support on-going development and continuous improvement of accounts receivable processes and systems

**What you'll bring**:

- Business certificate or recognised prior learning (equivalent accounts receivable experience).
- Up to 3 years' experience in accounts receivable or similar function.
- Advanced excel skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to think logically, multi
- task and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
