**The Company**

Our client is a well established wholesale distributor of FMCG products established 35+ years ago. They service customers across Australia within the route, independent, petrol/convenience, chemist and discount channels.

**The Role**

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced field sales professional within the FMCG industry to join the team.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager and looking after the South / South East Melbourne territory, you will be responsible for:

- Delivering on channel priorities
- Meeting sales and margin targets
- Coverage of customers with the required frequency
- Negotiating and selling on shelf positioning and new product ranging
- Activating merchandising activities
- Activating promotional plans with customers
- Ensure compliance of all WHS procedures

**Skills and Experience**
- 3+ years FMCG sales experience
- A business development mindset by growing both existing and new customer opportunities
- Ability to build strong working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- High learning agility and being able to think quick on your feet
- Excellent time management with a keen eye for detail
- An organised approach to planning in advance
- An enthusiastic go-getter who works well under pressure
- You will be IT confident and have experience in using CRM platforms
- A valid Victorian drivers' licence
