New opportunity for a Payroll Systems Analyst to join our supportive and inclusive Payroll team, based at Sydney Olympic Park.
As Payroll Systems Analyst, you will provide systems analysis to our Praceda payroll system, with a key focus on data analysis, reporting, configuration, integration and process improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ability to analyse data and build a testing environment to validate between systems.
- Use data analysis to ensure the right decisions are made through interpretations of project design processes.
- Identify and develop measures, metrics, and indicators to support business and process outcomes. Support benchmarking activities and advise on target setting.
- Identify and document business improvement opportunities.
- Work with the Project testing teams to define and document the test strategy and plan. Engage stakeholders to ensure common understanding of what needs to be tested and how for SIT, UAT, and Parallel Testing.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies throughout the projects.
To ensure your success in this role you will possess:
- 2 years + Preceda experience, with configuration and integration knowledge
- Extensive people, process, and commercial analysis ideally in payroll, labour cost management, time and attendance, or workforce planning domains.
- Extensive experience in payroll data, interpretation and process efficiencies
- Process mapping and improvement experience.
- Excellent documentation skills - experience managing large and complex document deliverables.
- Ability to problem solve and think outside the box - creative thinking.
- Competent in using Excel, PowerBI and SQL data management source
