About the role

As the Product Owner - Data Governance, your mission is cultivate the culture and people capability with respect to the delivery and implementation of pragmatic and efficient data governance practices for ANZ Plus.

Lead data governance delivery and work with other Value Streams and senior stakeholders across ANZ to deliver great customer and regulatory outcomes and build strong people capability. You will join a lean, high performing team who think about risk and compliance management differently.

What will your day look like

Driving simple, innovative, and pragmatic approaches to data governance, with focus on outcomes commensurate with risk.

Ownership of data management practices and delivery across ANZx

Build strong cross functional relationships across ANZ, including with Enterprise Data Governance and Australian Retail Data Management to facilitate Divisional and Enterprise view.

Leading ongoing development and execution of data lifecycle by partnering with MAC Assurance teams to embed data governance awareness and management practices into ANZx Value Streams.

Reporting on the progress of data governance delivery and managing upstream and downstream impacts of delays, issues, and dependencies within ANZx and across ANZ.
