**About the Role**:
Are you ready to make a significant impact at Coles Group? We are thrilled to announce a newly created role for a Governance Advisor. Reporting to the Governance and Reporting Manager, you will be at the forefront of transforming and implementing risk management and governance across our organization. This is a full-time opportunity that offers a chance to shape the future of Coles Group.

**What you will be doing**:

- Collaborate and Innovate: Work closely with the Risk and Compliance team to build, implement, and monitor adherence to key frameworks and policies, including Group Risk Management, Third Party Risk Management, Policy Governance, and Conflict of Interest.
- Drive Improvement: Conduct maturity assessments and benchmarks to identify areas for enhancement and drive continuous improvement.
- Leverage Technology: Identify and implement technology solutions (e.g., GRC, CoI, SAP Ariba) to support framework execution and extract valuable data for monitoring and reporting.
- Educate and Empower: Develop engaging communications and training programs to ensure successful framework implementation.
- Strategic Reporting: Prepare and coordinate comprehensive risk, compliance, and governance reports for the Board, Audit & Risk Committee, and Group Executive.
- Risk Management: Facilitate and coordinate the Coles enterprise risk assessment and ongoing reporting of material risks.
- Build Relationships: Manage relationships with second and third line of defence functions to align and standardize risk, compliance, and governance frameworks and programs, including developing and maintaining a risk and assurance map.

**What You'll have most of the below skills**:

- Expertise: Demonstrated experience in enterprise risk management within ASX-listed companies.
- Reporting Skills: Proven experience in coordinating and preparing Executive and Board level reports.
- Analytical Abilities: Ability to analyze, interpret, present, and report complex information effectively.
- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) technology platforms is beneficial but not essential.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills, a process improvement mindset, and high attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent report writing and communication skills.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Exceptional senior stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills with well-developed communication and influencing abilities.
- Time Management: Ability to manage competing priorities and complete tasks/projects in a timely manner to a high standard.
- Education: Tertiary degree in risk management, finance, economics, law, engineering, or a relevant discipline.
