In partnership with the Australian Defence Force, we are seeking a **Production Officer** to work in our longstanding DMSS (Defence Maintenance & Support Services) contract based at **Puckapunyal**, 10km west of Seymour.

This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday (12pm finishes on Fridays).

**Other duties involve**:

- Ensure compliance with Ventia and contract specific quality assurance and safety standards.
- Provide support to operations in the provision of data and management of work orders.
- Develop and maintain effective working procedures with the JLU team.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiencies and best practice methodologies.
- Establish and maintain robust relationships with Client and Contract managers.
- Guide the Finance and Administration team in resolution of claim rejections.
- Oversee the mandatory report process ensuring that all documentation is uploaded to facilitate claiming.
- Manage the prompt and effective receipt, allocation and dispatch of orders.
- Analyse and report on overdue work orders and follow through to completion.
- Coordinate the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities.

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:

- Sound understanding of work order management and the ability to problem solve.
- Competent in managing and coordinating maintenance production and planning outputs.
- Experience in defence system - MILIS highly regarded.
- Ability to coordinate and plan tasks in a maintenance environment.
- Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Experience in data analysis and reporting.

You must be an Australian Citizen and have the ability to maintain a Defence clearance in order to be eligible for these positions, as well as be able to pass an Australian Federal Police Check and Medical Pre-Employment Checks as required by the contract.
