Production Officer Role

We are seeking a professional to join our team as a Production Officer in a full-time permanent position based at Puckapunyal, 10km west of Seymour.

This role involves ensuring compliance with quality assurance and safety standards, providing support to operations, and developing effective working procedures.

Duties include:

  • Ensuring compliance with Ventia and contract specific quality assurance and safety standards.
  • Providing support to operations in the provision of data and management of work orders.
  • Developing and maintaining effective working procedures with the JLU team.
  • Implementing continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiencies and best practice methodologies.
  • Establishing and maintaining robust relationships with Client and Contract managers.
  • Guiding the Finance and Administration team in resolution of claim rejections.
  • Overseeing the mandatory report process ensuring that all documentation is uploaded to facilitate claiming.
  • Managing the prompt and effective receipt, allocation and dispatch of orders.
  • Analysing and reporting on overdue work orders and following through to completion.
  • Coordinating the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities.

Requirements for Success:

  • A sound understanding of work order management and problem-solving skills.
  • Competence in managing and coordinating maintenance production and planning outputs.
  • Experience in defence systems - MILIS highly regarded.
  • Ability to coordinate and plan tasks in a maintenance environment.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting.
