**About Energy Consumers Australia** Energy Consumers Australia (ECA) is the national voice for household and small business energy consumers. We have an accountability to energy consumers and Federal/ State Governments based on our funding sources. We advocate for change to help consumers, founded on solid evidence and working effectively with a range of partners to influence decision-makers in the energy sector.
**About the role** Energy Consumers Australia is seeking a Strategic Planning and Corporate Reporting Manager to deliver, coordinate and evaluate the organisations 3-year strategic planning processes and annual workplans. Working within the Strategy and Corporate Directorate you will be responsible for bringing the organisations' strategic plan and workplans to life.
You will support the Director, Strategy and Corporate and work with the Board and our Executive Management team on strategic planning, reporting on the outcomes of our work, including to Energy Ministers and officials, and helping the team identify how to measure success in achieving our organisational goals. You will also support the Board to effectively monitor the execution of the organisations' Strategic Plan, planning processes and to fulfil their role identifying strategic priorities, managing risks and making budgetary and resource decisions aligned to the Strategic Plan.
This role offers the opportunity for a mid-level career professional to develop and extend your skills toward a management level. You will have the opportunity to work with expert consultants to learn new methods and techniques for strategic planning and implementation and help us to shape the energy system to create better outcomes for Australian households and businesses.

Required skills/experience
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a relevant field of HR, Economics, Business, Commerce or Management.
- Experience in a planning services provision, strategic planning/ consulting or working in a corporate planning/ strategy planning / reporting team.
- Experience in developing and implementing strategic planning framework, policies, and planning processes or a track record and relevant experience in a similar role.
- Experience training people on processes and systems.
- Strong communication skills including consultation, facilitation and report writing skills
- Are a data wizard and thrive in an environment where you are the go-to for anything company data related. You have the ability to convert information from multiple sources into a single cohesive, concise, and informative document that is aligned to our voice.
- You enjoy working with a diverse range of stakeholders and can present ideas in a clear and engaging way.
- Ability to form strong relationships both within and outside the organisation, leading to collaborations that advance our strategic planning goals.
- Competency of the Microsoft suite of products is essential.
- Familiarity and experience working with project management tools such as Asana or a similar tool.
**More about the role**
The role is offered on the following terms:
- Salary range of $110,000 to $123,000 (FTE 1.0) dependent on experience
- Sydney based office-based location in CBD opposite Town Hall (Split working from home and from office)
