The Corporate Planning and Performance Officer is a newly established permanent role responsible for developing and implementing ONRSR's corporate planning and performance processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
This position leads the design and oversight of a key performance indicator (KPI) framework to measure organisational performance and collaborates closely with the Chief Executive and Executive Management Committee (EMC), providing strategic advice to support accountability.
A key focus will be supporting the EMC in managing and delivering its agenda, aligning initiatives with ONRSR's priorities.
Your contribution will drive strategic outcomes, fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and measurable impact across ONRSR.
About you – your impact and contribution
You will bring enthusiasm for corporate planning and performance, with experience working with senior leaders to deliver results.
Your role involves providing strategic leadership in designing, implementing, and improving ONRSR's corporate planning framework, ensuring alignment with priorities and impact measures.
You will prepare regular progress reports on the corporate plan, KPIs, and key projects to support performance monitoring, inform the ministerial statement of expectations, and contribute to biannual reports to ITMM.
Working with the Chief Executive and EMC, you will influence and support strategic planning, advising on performance improvements.
To be successful, you should have:
Proven experience leading corporate planning and performance functions at a senior or executive level, preferably within the public sector.
Extensive knowledge of strategic planning, performance management frameworks, and KPI development.
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and data interpretation skills.
Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Commitment to integrity, confidentiality, and discretion.
Experience in research, preparing high-quality reports, briefing notes, and presentations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools.
At least 4 years' experience supporting corporate governance committees (preferred).
