Job Title: Strategic Planning and Performance Manager

We are seeking a Strategic Planning and Performance Manager to lead the development, delivery, monitoring, and reporting of Council's strategic and planning documents in accordance with the NSW Integrated Planning & Reporting Framework.

This includes the 10-year Community Strategic Plan, 4-year Delivery Program, Operational Plan, Resourcing Strategy, and various required reports.

The successful candidate will oversee the implementation and development of our service planning framework and program implement processes for strategic service review.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop, coordinate and prepare Council's Integrated Planning and Reporting framework and associated documentation.
  • Lead the execution of the Council's strategic service review process.
  • Identify and monitor key corporate performance metrics to drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Develop comprehensive reports and provide strategic advice on performance assessment.
  • Develop and implement policies relevant to the role.
  • Utilise data analytics to identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business, Communications, Actuarial Science, Applied Mathematics, or a relevant field.
  • Proven knowledge and experience in Integrated Planning & Reporting requirements and the Service Planning and Review Framework.
  • High-level understanding of business and corporate performance management principles.
  • Ability to provide strategic guidance to management and effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
