Canteen, Camp Quality and Redkite (Alliance Partners) are working together to provide Cancer Hub - a digital hub to help families impacted by cancer more easily access the practical and emotional support they need, when they need it. This role represents Camp Quality and its children and families. Camp Quality brings positivity, fun and laughter back into the lives of kids facing cancer. We are there for children and their families, from the heartbreaking cancer diagnosis through every step of the experience. Camp Quality support families where there are kids (0-15) dealing with their own cancer diagnosis, or the diagnosis of a sibling or parent. The services and programs offered through Camp Quality help families build optimism and resilience through community, education and fun.
We are now seeking a National Intake Clinician
- Camp Quality to join our Cancer Hub team. The National Intake Clinician will hold broad knowledge of Cancer Hub services which include knowledge about Camp Quality, Redkite and Canteen services and supports, assist clients to better understand their needs and support options, and refer the clients to the most appropriate avenue.

- Camp Quality will be responsible for representing the needs of Camp Quality eligible children and families and fostering connections between Camp Quality, Cancer Hub, Alliance partners and other stakeholders.

**About our role**
**The National Reconciliation Coordinator will work take a lead role in developing and implementing Canteen's Reconciliation Action Plan(s)(RAP). The role will work closely with internal stakeholders, external organisations, Elders, community members and young leaders, to proactively develop strategies for reconciliation initiatives, such that Canteen strengthens its responsiveness to the needs of First Nations peoples and educates staff to provide quality service provision to the community. The role will lead RAP projects, planning and implementing a range of initiatives whilst engaging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stakeholders. The role will support Canteen to embed reconciliation practices in all areas of the organisation. Also, this role will contribute to the safety and quality of care for service users and their families is required to ensure continuous improvement of service delivery.**
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Area 1: Reconciliation oversight**
- **Develop professional and supportive relationships and networks with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community leaders, organisations and young leaders to facilitate effective consultation and decision-making structures for the development and implementation of Reconciliation Action Plan(s).**
- **Develop and maintain relationships with the Young Adult Reconciliation Network, and support the YARN in their engagement with Canteen, respecting the lived experience of the group and providing opportunities for the YARN to assist to strengthen Canteen's reconciliation journey.**
- **Act as a central point of contact and coordination for all RAP commitments by working with each person/department responsible for actions and deliverables.**
- **With support from the Head of Clinical Services and Reconciliation, co-chair a Reconciliation Action Plan Working Group focused on the ensuring the identified key deliverables of the Reconciliation Action Plan(s) are completed to a high standard.**
- **Work with the Reconciliation Action Plan Working Group and other key internal stakeholders to develop strategies for reconciliation initiatives including cultural learning, employment and procurement.**
