Job Opportunity: Manager of Indigenous Relations

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to take on the role of Manager of Indigenous Relations. This position involves building and maintaining strong relationships with First Nations communities, stakeholders, and organizations.

  • Develop effective strategies for engaging with First Nations communities in a respectful and culturally sensitive manner
  • Foster partnerships between our organization and Indigenous groups to promote mutual understanding and collaboration
  • Coordinate events, workshops, and initiatives that support reconciliation efforts and promote cultural awareness
  • Advocate for Indigenous rights within our organization and externally
  • Provide training and development opportunities for staff members to enhance their cultural competency

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of Indigenous cultures and traditions, the ability to build trust and establish rapport with diverse groups, project management experience, and strong organizational skills.
