Overview

Join the Burger Urge team as a National Operations Coordinator. We're seeking a busy, process-minded individual to keep our people, projects, and operations running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

Role

Position: National Operations Coordinator
Reports to: Head of Operations

You will be the central link between our Operations, HR, and Support Office teams — ensuring recruitment, onboarding, office management, and operations support functions are seamless. From finding top talent to supporting national projects, you'll help set the Burger Urge team up for success.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Talent & Recruitment — Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for Support Office and Corporate Venue roles; write and post engaging job ads; screen applicants, conduct phone interviews, and coordinate hiring; manage compliance (right-to-work, reference checks) and maintain accurate recruitment data.
  • Onboarding & Employee Experience — Deliver a smooth onboarding process (contracts to first-day orientation); support new hires through their transition; track onboarding surveys and feedback to improve the experience.
  • Operations Support — Assist with venue openings, refurbishments, training support, and national projects; coordinate performance programs, recognition initiatives, and training content; provide day-to-day support to the Operations team to ensure priorities are met on time.
  • Office Management & Administration — Support leadership with diary management, travel bookings, and expense reporting; maintain Support Office operations (supplies, schedules, events); assist with ad hoc admin, reporting, and project coordination.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven recruitment and HR experience (end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, compliance).
  • Strong communicator able to engage with candidates through to senior leaders.
  • Highly organized multitasker with excellent attention to detail.
  • Tech savvy with MS Office, TANDA, Humanforce, SharePoint, and
  • Natural problem-solver who can prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional, approachable, and able to handle confidential information with integrity.
