**About the role**

Based at reception in the Sydney office this unique role is an integral part of the Supporter Engagement Team (SET) and the first point of contact for any enquiries relating to Starlight. SET's vision is to give ALL supporters a STAR experience with every interaction - something they will always remember with lots of sparkle

This unique role involves some extra special tasks Such as making Thank You calls to our donors, receiving and disbursing parcels and mail deliveries including gifts for a child's Wish, and connecting our donors with the incredible impact of their support.

This varied administrative role requires a "can do" attitude and includes:

- Coordinating high volume courier bookings
- Managing daily mail
- Processing donations received by mail (including daily reconciliation & banking)
- Responding to supporter enquiries through various touchpoints
- Updating & maintaining the accuracy of Starlight's donor database details
- Ensuring queries, complaints and donations are managed quickly and efficiently; and
- Supporting other departments with ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Ideally with some reception experience, it's your administration skills, "Can do" attitude and exceptional customer service commitment, that are your superpower's In addition to:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong problem-solving skills and sense of initiative
- Effective time management capability
- Ability to display kindness and empathy in all interactions
- Positive attitude and a team player with willingness to assist the wider business
- Hold a valid Working with Children Check or willing & eligible to obtain prior to commencement
- Satisfy a National Police Check (Fit 2 Work)
