**About the Role**

Part of the Department of Enterprise, Industry and Trade cluster, Create NSW focusses specifically on achieving the NSW Government's priority of fostering excellence in arts, screen and culture in NSW. We work collaboratively with artists and arts workers, the arts and cultural sector and our partners within government to provide a range of support services including management of grants of varying scales to recipient government and non-government organisations; overseeing more than $2.5b in cultural infrastructure projects to create the spaces where arts can flourish; and managing a portfolio of arts and heritage properties predominantly leased to cultural organisations. Recently completed projects include the Walsh Bay Arts Precinct and Sydney Modern.

The new $371 million Walsh Bay Arts Precinct is home to nine of the country's most significant performing arts companies. Wharf 4/5 houses Bangarra Dance Theatre, Gondwana Choirs, Sydney Dance Company, Sydney Philharmonia Choirs, Sydney Theatre Company and The Song Company. Taking up residence at Pier 2/3 are the Australian Chamber Orchestra, Australian Theatre for Young People and Bell Shakespeare.

The Precinct Administrator will undertake a range of administrative tasks and provide onsite operational support for the Walsh Bay Arts Precinct and its cultural tenants.

As Precinct Administrator, Walsh Bay Arts Precinct you will:

- Work closely with the Precinct Manager to coordinate daily onsite precinct operations for a safe, compliant and well-maintained environment
- Ensure smooth and efficient precinct operations via the provision of finance, compliance and procurement administration and secretariat support
- Provide exceptional customer service by supporting tenant and stakeholder operational requirements in responsive and timely way
- Assist with cultural and commercial activations and events and coordinate digital and temporary signage across the precinct
- Ensure all precinct documentation and records are up to date, tracked and reported on as needed
- Support facilities management through day-to-day coordination including providing access and monitoring precinct presentation
- Administer and monitor operational service contracts such as cleaning, security and scheduling

To be successful in this role you:

- Are flexible, responsive and able to analyse and anticipate workflows
- Have great administrative skills with experience across finance, procurement, property or venue management and/or other complex projects
- Can manage multiple tasks simultaneously with mínimal direction and supervision and enjoy working as part of a team.
