Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Big4 Breeze Holiday Parks - Port Hughes Full time

We are looking for a Casual Grounds/Maintenance and Amenities employee to join our team at this great location. You will be required to complete general grounds upkeep and maintenance tasks for the BIG4 Breeze Holiday Parks - Port Hughes.

**Responsibilities and Requirements**:

- Maintain the Park's appearance to a high standard.
- General gardening to maintain quality of lawns, gardens and trees to ensure a safe environment.
- Maintain the Parks irrigation system, including installation and maintenance.
- Servicing and maintenance of all tools, plant and equipment in good working order and in accordance with manufacturers' specifications.
- Maintain the required documentation and have it available for Council Inspections.
- Assistance with development of landscaping and upgrading of general Park facilities and infrastructure as required.
- Park building, cabins and caravan maintenance and minor construction.
- Read electricity meters as required.
- Office support as required, e.g. telephone answering, mail collection and distribution, etc.
- Deliver a high level of service, identify and meet the needs of and offer support and services to guests and residents where applicable.
- May be required to take the night phone when Park managers are absent/offsite. This includes responding to maintenance issues, guest incidents, and emergencies.
- Cleaning of all cabin interiors, veranda's and exteriors as required.
- Cleaning of amenities blocks in all areas.
- Cleaning of laundries and camp kitchens as required.
- Assisting fellow team members in a productive manner.
- Operation of vehicle in a safe manner.
- Knowledge of chemical use and MDS information.

**Performance Goals**:

- Extend a high standard of customer service when interacting with our guests reporting any customer related issues to management in a timely manner.
- Enforce the Park rules where applicable and especially where the safety and comfort of guests could be compromised.
- Report all incidents and malfunction of plant and equipment to the Managers.
- Follow emergency procedures and OH&S rules and laws in accordance with the direction of management and the Park's policies.
- Ensure all Staffing and HR policies outlined in the Employee Handbook are followed and adhered to.
- A team player, interacting with management and staff on a clear, co-operative, and honest basis.
- Enthusiastic, positive and energetic about all aspects of work.
- Communicating well with all staff, residents, and suppliers.
- Attention to detail.
- Flexible availability including weekend and public holiday work.
- Reliable and punctual.

Hours of work are dependent on operational requirements of the business.
