Grounds Maintenance Labourer

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Grounds Maintenance Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks associated with the maintenance of local parks and amenities, including operating heavy machinery, undertaking cleaning activities, and maintaining equipment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Operate ride-on mowers and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently
  • Undertake cleaning activities in local parks and amenities, including sweeping, weeding, and waste removal
  • Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition at all times

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A minimum of 12 months experience in a horticultural and grounds maintenance environment
  • High levels of competency in the use of horticultural and grounds maintenance related plant and equipment
  • A WHS General Induction Certificate (White Card)
  • Adequate numeracy and literacy skills to fulfill record-keeping responsibilities
  • Self-motivation with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • A current NSW Driver's Licence
