We are seeking a skilled Grounds and Maintenance Specialist to join our team.

Job Description

This is a full-time position working 38 hours per week, requiring the ability to work unsupervised with high motivation and customer service skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for attending to repairs and maintenance issues, maintaining the appearance of the site, and ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely manner and to a high standard.

The role involves administering repairs and maintenance to tools, equipment, and machinery, as well as checking and attending to general repairs to accommodation and amenities. The incumbent will also be responsible for maintaining the sites at a high standard, including gardening duties such as pruning, weeding, hedging, and mowing.

Responsibilities
  • Administer all repairs and or maintenance to tools, equipment and machinery
  • Regularly check and attend to general repairs to accommodation and amenities; including fixing toilets and unhinged doors
  • Ensuring the sites are maintained and presented at a high standard at all times
  • Garden labour such as pruning, weeding, hedging and mowing are to be completed in a timely manner and of a high quality condition
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a handyman or in a maintenance position, hold a driver's license, and possess great customer service skills teamed with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail.

The successful candidate must be able to work with limited supervision and be available to work weekends and public holidays on a rotating roster.
