Reporting to the Group Head, Corporate Affairs & Government Relations, the role of Group Corporate Affairs Specialist will be responsible for supporting the execution of the Group's Corporate Affairs strategy.

You will be primarily assisting the Group Head of External Communications in executing our external communications agenda to strengthen Asahi Beverages' long-term reputation and influence, while also delivering commercial value.

**This is a 6-month, fixed-term position**

**Other areas of responsibility will include**:

- Assisting with preparing media releases, planning campaigns and responding to journalists' queries
- Assisting with CUB website management
- Help to manage relationships with suppliers including our media monitors, key photographers and videographers
- Engaging with external, third-party PR agencies
- Assisting with marketing and regulatory compliance across CUB and ALB businesses
- Supporting of our responsible drinking programs and execution of our Global Responsible Drinking Goals
- Assisting with engagement of State and Federal governments to advocate on key issues, achieve meaningful business outcomes and to improve Asahi Beverages' reputation

Success in this role will see you utilising your superior written and verbal communications skills to assist in executing our external communications strategy, public policy program and managing our compliance, regulation, and partnership program.

- An understanding of current affairs and the Australian media and political landscape
- An understanding of both the regulatory landscape and community attitudes and expectations with respect to responsible marketing of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- A collaborative, team orientated approach
