Strategic Communications Specialist

In a fast-paced corporate environment, this role plays a crucial part in driving strategic communications initiatives to foster strong relationships with stakeholders.

  • Develop and execute internal and external communications plans to drive compelling messaging across digital channels.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to craft engaging content for various platforms, ensuring seamless integration with the company's brand identity.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing counsel on communication matters, identifying opportunities for thought leadership.
  • Working closely with the business to deliver innovative and impactful content strategies.
  • Supporting change management communications plans and developing internal content that drives engagement.

Requirements for success include:

  • A degree in communications, journalism, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in corporate/internal communications, media relations, and/or journalism, with a proven track record in Corporate Affairs.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under pressure.
  • Experience with communications measurement systems, analytics, intranet platforms, content management systems, and other technologies supporting communication strategies.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and project management skills, along with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements Summary:
  • Tertiary qualifications in communications or journalism.
  • Minimum 5+ years experience in corporate/internal communications and/or journalism.
