The operations departments is an integral part of the Pepper team, providing a range of services and expertise in delivering robust infrastructure, analytics and solutions in a fast-paced environment.
We are seeking an experienced Loss Recovery Officer to provide "best in class" service by reducing loss to the business through facilitating internal recovery, external contingent collections and debt sale.
The role presents an opportunity to develop relationship management skills with our debt sales and contingent collections partners as well as an opportunity to influence positive change as the department grows within the business. Your responsibilities will include:
- Inbound and outbound calls to recoveries customers/purchasers and external parties.
- Maintenance of data integrity by updating our system for new and existing accounts
- Reviewing and outsourcing accounts for contingent collections
- Management of the recoveries/contingent/debt sale inbox
**What we are looking for**:
- Demonstrated experience in collections for a minimum of 2 years.
- Ability to manage competing priorities across Debt Sale, Contingent Collections, and Inhouse Recovery.
- Data analysis and excel skills for preparing debt sale and contingent files.
- Relationship building skills for working with our Collections Suppliers.
- Self-Starter with strong time management skills.
- Negotiation and Problem-Solving skills for unusual enquiries in relation to written off debt.
