Insurance Recovery Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Recovery Specialist to join our team. With over 15 years of recruitment experience, we have established ourselves as a leader in the general insurance sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and investigate motor insurance claims to identify opportunities for recovery and minimize losses.
  • Negotiate with third parties, including other insurers, loss adjusters, and solicitors, to recover claims costs and achieve successful outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the internal claims team to gather essential data and supporting evidence for successful recoveries.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date claims records and documentation to ensure seamless communication and efficient decision-making.
  • Evaluate the feasibility of legal action and liaise with legal counsel when necessary to protect our clients' interests.
  • Provide regular updates to clients, brokers, and management on recovery progress, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the process.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to claims recoveries, continuously improving our services and expertise.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with experience working in recoveries or collections, dealing directly with customers/clients over the phone. Experience in handling litigated claims and working with legal teams is highly advantageous.
