Security Operations Lead

**Your new role**
This role reports into the Manager Protective Security. And as the Security Operations Lead you will be tasked with the operational delivery of the Protective Security Program and other related security functions.
You will have the opportunity to work cross functionally across the Fund to ensure a safe and secure work environment. The role will monitor and respond to global security risk events and trends to effectively mitigate physical and personnel security risks.
- It is important to point out that this is a Physical Security Lead position not a Cyber Security role _.
Some key duties include but not limited to;
- Operation of the Fund's enterprise security systems (access control, video management and alarm monitoring).
- Support the Manager - Protective Security with effective engagement with security vendors and security functions such as tenancy base building security contractors.
- Promote security education and awareness across the Fund, including new starters.
- Undertake regular security inspections, audits including user access reviews.
- Ensure appropriate and relevant governance structures, policies and processes are followed, and advocate for continuous improvement to these.

**What you'll need**
- An understanding of personnel protection and workplace safety, including in overseas environments of varying risk and complexity including the preparation of risk/threat assessments.
- Demonstrated experience with writing reports, briefings and procedural doctrine.
- Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
- Recommend and where appropriate implement strong risk controls on processes, policies and systems to ensure breaches are limited; actively build and promote a team culture of compliance and risk management awareness and appreciation.
