**About Us**:
Lux Fitouts is a small dynamic business specialising in retail fitouts, demolition, and maintenance. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and quality results for our clients. We're looking for a skilled bookkeeper/Office Assistant to support our financial operations and provide administrative assistance as needed.
**The Role**:
We are seeking an experienced **Bookkeeper / Administrative All-Rounder** to help manage financial records, provide reporting, and assist with essential office tasks. This part-time position offers flexible hours, approximately 2-3 days per week in house, with potential for increased work days as the role evolves.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Bookkeeping & Financial Management**:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts using XERO and Simpro (Job Management System)
- Prepare and deliver monthly financial statements and reports.
- Provide accurate data to accountants for BAS and compliance reporting.
- Maintain project cost tracking sheets and monitor budgets.
- Prepare summaries of project budgets and expenditures.
- Oversee vehicle and equipment registrations, Insurances, E-Tags etc
**Administrative Support**:
- Process forms for insurance, equipment financing, and other business needs.
**What We're Looking For**:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with XERO and Simpro (Job Management system or similar system).
- Strong skills in data management and spreadsheet creation.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to work independently.
- Experience in bookkeeping for the construction, fitout, or related industries.

**How to Apply**:
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week

- Certificate I - IV (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Bookkeeping: 2 years (preferred)
- Xero: 2 years (required)
- Office Administration: 2 years (preferred)
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (required)
