We are looking to fill this entry-level position by bringing on a fresh staff member whom we can train and develop into an experienced, competent office administrator.
O'Brien Electrical & Plumbing Rowville is a proud family of quality-focused trade service professionals in the electrical industry.
The position is varied, so you will never be bored, yet clearly defined so you will know your responsibilities and be able to manage your time accordingly.
PRIMARY PURPOSEAssist in bringing in more business by communicating with new and existing customersEfficient management of inbound calls and outbound customer surveys and debt collectionBe the glue between operational performance and marketing through customer service follow-up activity.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS AND TASKSRespond to all inbound calls and inquiries for jobs.Support improving stock accuracy and warrantiesSupport employee engagement program i.e. toolbox meeting agendas/actions, keep whiteboard currentChase overdue debtorsFollow up sent quotesAsk for any opportunities for existing customersappointment set for new clients, service/ solar/ constructionOnline marketing Linked in, Social mediaCustomer segmenting for email outsCustomer follow up calls/ surveysCalls regarding tendersAssisting in tendersAssist with marketingExisting Customer relations mining BNI meetingsTrade showsEnsure maximum office discretion and confidentiality at all times KEY CONTACTSInternal with all O'Brien Rowville people in relation to all operations, office and admin functions, etc.External with all the customers in relation to all job inquiries, then Debtors and Creditors in relation to payments KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCERequires sound operations and administrative abilityHigh level of computer literacy especially with computerized job management systems eg Simpro, MS Office particularly ExcelRelevant qualifications ie Operations, Sales, and Administration preferred but not essentialA strong and professional work ethic.A professional and friendly approach.A proactive attitude.
