**This position is an exciting and new opportunity to work with Medtronic's Patient Monitoring, Respiratory Interventions business. Currently a part of Medtronic, these businesses are being transitioned either into a new stand-alone company (currently referred to as NewCo) or will be merged into the business of another company. While you will start your employment with Medtronic, upon establishment of NewCo or upon the transition of the business unit to another company, in approximately 12-15 months your employment will transfer to one of these entities and you will no longer be employed by Medtronic

The business will have the same singular focus, financial commitment, deep domain expertise, and global footprint needed to accelerate the development and commercialization of affordable and scalable healthcare technologies.

**A Day in the Life
**Medtronic is looking to recruit a highly capable Territory Manager for our Medical Surgical sales team in Victoria. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will join a team of dedicated and talented professionals and gain world-class training and development. **In this role, you will**:

- Actively seek to develop and expand on territory management and selling skills and plan work to achieve or exceed sales targets
- Be the product expert and provide education and training effectively to all clinical end users and hospital staff within assigned territory
- Gather market intelligence (product, price, promotion, discount etc.) by observation, discussion or research, and seek to develop new business opportunities
- Work individually and as part of the wider team to establish and foster strong relationships with key opinion leaders
- Ensure timely follow-up and prompt resolution to customer/patient technical and product issues, including after-hours support when needed

**Must Have - Minimum Requirements**
- Bachelors degree required
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and working knowledge of company products and services

**Good to Have**
- Proven clinical background and/ or sales experience within the healthcare industry, preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build rapport with both internal and external stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills coupled with having the patience and persistence to follow through
- Highly organised with good time management skills and ability to manage conflicting priorities
- Driven, self-motivated individual who can work well autonomously
