Position Summary

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced medical professional to fill this challenging role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Expertise: Provide expert care to patients with respiratory and sleep disorders, including asthma, COPD, sleep apnea, and other complex conditions.
  • Treatment Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement appropriate interventions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
  • Research and Education: Participate in clinical research, contribute to the advancement of respiratory and sleep medicine, and engage in teaching and mentoring medical students and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Medical Qualifications: Medical degree with specialisation in Respiratory and/or Sleep Medicine.
  • Registration and Certification: Current registration with AHPRA and fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent.
  • Experience and Skills: Demonstrated experience in managing a broad range of respiratory and sleep disorders, strong clinical, research, and teaching skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
