Respiratory Nurse Coordinator Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Nurse Coordinator to join our clinical team. The successful candidate will possess current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, relevant post-registration qualifications in Respiratory Nursing, and minimum three years full-time experience working in the clinical specialty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate external outpatient services and support for respiratory patients during custody and following release
  • Support Justice Health NSW clinicians to assist with continuity of care, case management, transfer of care into the community and post-release follow-up as required for respiratory patients
  • Plan, develop, implement and evaluate respiratory services to service planning and development
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
  • Relevant post-registration qualifications in Respiratory Nursing
  • Minimum three years full-time experience working in the clinical specialty
  • Demonstrated knowledge and clinical experience in the assessment and management of respiratory patients' health needs including psychosocial care
  • High level interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
