**Our Purpose**
At Vertika, we reimagine the ease and comfort of everyday urban living through the next generation of smart homes—our Vertical Villages. We provide **_Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)_**, offering ongoing support through our SIL partners and access to a vibrant community.
**The Position**
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled SDA Transition Specialist to join our team. This is a key role in supporting participants to transition into SDA, working closely with NDIS participants, their families and support coordinators. Reporting to the General Manager, Vertika, your key responsibilities will be:
- Conduct thorough assessments of participant needs and develop transition plans, in partnership with NDIS participants, their families, and support coordinator
- Ensuring all SDA and associated funding is identified and plans are uplifted wherever possible
- Work closely with the NDIS, service providers and support coordinators to ensure a smooth and seamless transition into SDA
- Provide education and information to NDIS participants and their families about SDA options and the benefits of transitioning to SDA
- Provide ongoing support to NDIS participants and their families during and after the transition process, ensuring that any issues or concerns are addressed in a timely and effective manner
- Assist with data collection and maintenance of participant SDA related contracts, agreements and leases.
- Oversight of accommodation occupancy/vacancy tracking and reporting.
**About You**
You will have a strong understanding of the NDIS and SDA market, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and a deep passion to improving the life of people with a disability.
Your skills and experience will include:
- Minimum 3 years experience dealing with either tenancy management, vacancy management or property management.
- In-depth knowledge of the Specialist Disability Accommodation framework, NDIS, and associated regulations in how it operates, the people it benefits.
- An understanding of SDA contributions and association funds.
- Exposure to property operations
- Strong relationship-building skills and customer service mindset to effectively engage influence stakeholders
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
