About the role
Exciting opportunity to join the Property Management team at Island Life Property as a full-time Property Manager. This role involves managing a diverse portfolio of residential properties on Russell Island, Queensland. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality property management services to our valued clients.
What you'll be doing
- Conducting routine property inspections and coordinating maintenance and repairs
- Effectively managing rental properties, including advertising vacancies, conducting viewings, vetting tenants, and ensuring timely rent collection
- Responding to tenant inquiries and addressing any tenancy-related issues promptly
- Negotiating and preparing residential tenancy agreements
- Maintaining detailed property records and generating reports for clients
- Ensuring compliance with relevant residential tenancy legislation and regulations
- Providing excellent customer service to both landlords and tenants
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in residential property management, preferably in a similar role
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with relevant residential tenancy legislation and regulations
- Proficient in using property management software and Microsoft Office suite
- A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
