Key Equity Options Trader Role

We are looking for an experienced Equity Options Trader to join our team and contribute to the growth of our equity options trading desk.

About the Job

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of managing an equity options book, with a deep understanding of options Greeks, volatility surfaces, and market microstructure.

The role involves running and developing equity options trading strategies across key APAC single stocks, collaborating closely with quant researchers, software engineers, and execution specialists to optimize pricing, hedging, and risk management.

The ideal candidate will be a confident, fast decision-maker with a solid risk framework and entrepreneurial mindset.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute equity options trading strategies across key APAC single stocks.
  • Collaborate with quant researchers, software engineers, and execution specialists to optimize pricing, hedging, and risk management.
  • Make real-time trading decisions based on market dynamics, volatility, and flow.
  • Contribute to the evolution of our equity options trading desk, from strategy refinement to new market expansion.
  • Mentor junior traders and share expertise to strengthen the team.
Requirements
  1. 5+ years of experience managing an equity options book focused on the Hong Kong market at a trading firm, bank, or market maker.
  2. Strong track record of profitability in directional or volatility-based strategies.
  3. Deep understanding of options Greeks, volatility surfaces, and market microstructure.
  4. Confident, fast decision-maker with a solid risk framework and entrepreneurial mindset.
