**Job Overview**

We are looking for a driven social media specialist to attract and interact with targeted communities and network users as well as building internal and external social pages and interactions.

The social media expert will keep our system up to date and be in contact with the client when needed. They will help with training juniors and with the monthly client reports (as needed). They will have a keen interest in organisation and testing campaigns and the effectiveness of the campaign.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Building and executing social media strategy through competitive and audience research
- Setting up and optimizing company pages within each social media platform
- Build & execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
- Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, videos or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.
- Setup and optimise company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the company's social content and clients content
- Collaborate with other departments (customer relations. Sales etc) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions
- Stay current with festivals and upcoming events
- Continuously improve by capturing and analysing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
- Ensure quality of work is being kept to a high standard
- If the company is running late on production, your job is to ensure the client is kept updated and is happy with the situation or at least managed while the company gets the job updated. As part of this updating client is your responsibility.
- Answering the telephone and ensuring messages are passed along as needed
- Manage all aspects of social media
- Work well with team members
- Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop socials
- Identifying customers needs and recommending new socials to address gaps in the company's current socials and their clients.
- Work with other team members when we needed
- Collaborate with the team as needed
- Ongoing research and upskilling

**Qualifications**
- Punctual, reliable and attentive toward their work and work colleagues
- Creative (ability to write, edit photos and presentation skills)
- Proven experience in social media marketing
- Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
- Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
- Process driven
- Have a warm and friendly attitude.
- Be a team player with a 'can do' attitude
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Working knowledge of social management and planning
- Positive attitude, good multitasking and organisational abilities
- Proficient in all microsoft office and google sheets
- Excellent writing and editing skills. Attention to detail
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
- Effective communication skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $42,000.00 per year
