The Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Second in Charge (2IC) to support our Centre Director in leading daily operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated early childhood professional to step into a leadership role and make a real impact in the lives of children, families, and educators.

As the 2IC, you will:

- Support the Centre Director in managing day-to-day operations of the centre.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire educators to deliver exceptional programs.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements (NQS, EYLF, ACECQA standards).
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, staff, and the wider community.
- Step into the Centre Director role when required.

About You
- Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).
- Previous leadership/2IC experience in a childcare or early learning setting.
- Strong knowledge of NQS, EYLF, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- A passion for early childhood education and supporting children's development.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $41.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
