We are seeking to establish a pool of Primary Teachers for permanent and fixed-term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Wellard Village Primary School (PS) is centred on a culture of powerful relationships where all key stakeholders work collaboratively for positive student outcomes. We are looking for staff who are team oriented, highly collaborative and possess an ability to work in a team.
Wellard Village PS has a culture of excellence in teaching and learning. Our staff have a shared understanding of contemporary quality teaching and whole school pedagogy. Our pedagogical framework focuses on explicit teaching, evidence-based practice, play based learning and inquiry (Kath Murdoch). It is aligned to the Department of Education Quality Teaching Framework, and we utilise Universal Design for Learning, to enact our inclusive philosophy.
Developing the whole child is a priority for our staff. Together we ensure that we balance curriculum delivery with social and emotional learning and physical health and wellbeing. We utilise Positive Behaviour Support to set high expectations for our learning environment, ensuring all students are safe and accountable.
