Sales Manager

**About the role**:
Hartwig Air is looking for an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to join our team. The duties will include, but will not be limited to:

- Directing the development and implementation of strategies that would maximise lead generation in the Indian market.
- Liaising with key contacts (Chief Pilots) in Indian Commercial Aviation to initiate a Cadet program for the flight school in South Australia.
- Setting up a dedicated country-specific training program for international students focussing on Asian markets for new business opportunities - mainly universities and flight schools, to conduct their flight training in South Australia.
- Establishing a flight attendant program - initiate and execute the FA program including all course content and training aspects.
- Recruiting key business partners for lead generation, both international and domestic.
- Pursuing process improvement opportunities for Sales and Marketing.
- Conducting open days for the domestic market.
- Visiting corporate and educational entities to source new local business opportunities.
- Designing and implementing new social media campaigns for the Flight School, working to enhance the image of the brand and the loyalty to the brand among potential students and the wider public.
- Participating in expos and events to promote the Flight School
- Directing strategies to ensure that most sales leads that have been generated are converted into future students.
- Planning accommodation and logistics for international students enrolled in the programs.

**Annual Salary Package** - 75000 AUD + 10% Super.

Hartwig Air is Adelaide's most experienced and established light training school established in 1969. More than 3000 pilots have been trained in our facilities over this timeframe and have progressed onto all major carriers in Australia and around the world. Recently graduated students have been employed by Qantas, United Airlines and Cathay Pacific.

Our students have a sense of well-being and ownership as well as our flight instructors who go the extra mile to cover the gaps in the hardship that students may encounter during their course. Our instructors are always available to the students in a flexible work environment.

Our contracts will several government agencies and our charter services including patrolling the metro beaches of South Australia and operating scenic flights over outback South Australia basing ourselves in Marree, South Australia give our students valuable exposure to keep flying post studies.

Our in-house maintenance department Gulfstream ensures that our aircraft are maintained for continuous training and a safety focused culture which has ensured a blemish free record.

We are a 32-member strong organisation with fully functional fleet operation and management departments.

Hartwig Air has shown consistent growth even throughout Covid-19, which is a testament to our focused business strategy and reputation.

We are confident about the continued rebound of the aviation industry as it recovers from the devastating effects of the continuing pandemic. We believe that this grants an opportunity for the aviation industry to accelerate its progression toa sustainable model through increased aircraft efficiency utilising sustainable and renewable energy sources.

For this reason, we're in discussions with aircraft manufacturers such as Diamond Aircraft and Pipistrel Aircraft to acquire the next generation of trainer aircraft.

We can also foresee the required changes in pilot training as the Australian industry transitions to the global standard of students graduating directly into airline operations. Our testimony to that is the role of our former students in our organisation in critical management roles.

**Salary**: $75,000.00 per year
