About the Role
Our Regional Inside Sales function is responsible for the selling and onboarding of all new business deals in the Local Customer Partner (LCP) Programme. This is a newly created role for a driven and tenacious Sales Manager to work collaboratively across the business. As the Sales Manager you will be responsible for managing, mentoring and motivating a team of five Account Managers. Your team will manage the new business nationally and play an integral role in the development of the LCP Programme ensuring they deliver profitable revenue for the programme. This role requires someone who is a passionate leader, is organised and enjoys building relationships.
This role will initially be located near Brisbane airport for approximately the first 6 months, with parking onsite. Afterwards it will be located in Karawatha.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Drive the results of the LCP Programme utilising the Account Management team to enhance new business for the partners across the country.
- Create strategies to build the growth of revenue and new business opportunities across the wider operational network as a part of the Local Customer Partner Channel
- Actively participate in the Implementation and achievement of annual internal sales budget across the team.
- Implement monthly/quarterly Sales strategies to Regional Inside Sales team to ensure sales budgets are achieved.
- Account for variances on a monthly basis in performance, recommending and initiating corrective action.
- Implement and monitor a Local Customer Partner relationship framework.
- Implement customer profitability model where applicable.
- Introduce and monitor standardised sales processes, disciplines, and benchmarks.
- Establish a progressing pipeline in salesforce - Unite for sales growth with existing and new business accounts.
- Fortnightly coaching with individual team members.
- Motivate, and continue to develop high quality sales personnel.
- Maintain contact with key partners.

Qualifications & Experience:
- A self-motivated and result-oriented leader
- Logistics experience beneficial but not mandatory
- Benefits-based selling skills
- Excellent listening, negotiation and analytical abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to develop strong business, sales and marketing plans
- A passion for coaching, mentoring and motivating people
- Expertise in influencing, delegating and decision making
- Ability to interpret the vision and inspire others
