**After Hours Floor Coordinator - Maternity Ward**

**Kareena Private Hospital, Caringbah**

**Full Time or Part Time Role**

**The Opportunity**
- Your duties will include (but not limited to):_
- Support and contribute to planning, implementing, and evaluating care practices, processes, and services.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and legislative requirements to uphold best practices.
- Collaborate with the Maternity Team to achieve excellence in care delivery.
- Lead and inspire a dedicated team of nurses to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Work closely with on-shift doctors and Hospital After Hours Managers to ensure optimal patient outcomes and adherence to best practices.
- Report directly to the Nurse Unit Manager, contributing to strategic goals and objectives.

**Opportunity for a part time or full-time role where you will lead our afternoon shift from 6.30pm to 7am on a rotating roster.**

To be successful in this role you will be a positive and effective leader with the ability to motivate others. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to coordinate and motivate a large team of clinical and non-clinical professionals.
- You will also bring;_
- Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- **Minimum 5 years postgraduate experience within maternity and birthing**:

- **Experience in neonatal resuscitation is required**:

- Demonstrated ability to be an effective role model in the area of clinical practice
- Sound Computer skills in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Critical thinking skills
- Analytical and ability to problem solve
- Critical care experience desirable but not essential.

**To be successful you will need to be available to work a 7-day rotating roster.**
