About The Role
We're seeking a Trade Qualified Painter with experience managing multiple sites in the Townsville region.
This is a dynamic, "off-the-tools" leadership position reporting to our Branch Manager, where approximately 80% of your time will involve site visits and project coordination, with the remaining 20% spent in the office.
Key Responsibilities
Lead multiple concurrent commercial repaint projects, ensuring safety, quality, and timeliness
Plan and allocate resources including labour, subcontractors, and materials
Monitor project progress and control costs to meet budgets and deadlines
Maintain compliance with WHS standards and company policies
Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
Supervise and mentor on-site teams, promoting safety and quality
What You'll Bring
Trade qualification as a painter with experience in commercial projects
Proven ability to manage small teams of employees and subcontractors across multiple sites
Strong understanding of project budgets and cost estimating
Proficiency in electronic documentation and reporting
Commitment to safety standards and best practices
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Leadership skills with a focus on coaching and team development
